About the artist - This koodai was designed by Mirnalini and knotted by Ramzan. Ramzan is a young mother of 3 children and comes from a very conservative family. She learnt to make these baskets during Covid by watching videos and joined team Wire Kadai in 2025, where we have upskilled her techniques through online classes and has been part of our team since then. She makes these baskets from home. The earnings from this helps Ramzan pay school fees for her children and gain credibility for her work. Thank you for supporting handmade products.
