Vari is a Wire Kadai specialty, a koodai made by Pushpa Akka who is a very senior artist. She is a heritage artist and has been knotting baskets for more than 45 years. She creates unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.
This piece has a border/varambu in a contrast colour and makes the koodai very sturdy.
